| From: Bart KB9SXC | | Great antenna, little tall but it has exceptional RX. Several months ago I was able to make a contact (while on top of a hill in CA) with an operator 90 miles away. The initial contact was on 5W. After awhile I switched to 0.5W and he could still copy me almost clean. In California I was on top of Mission Peak (Fremont), CA and the other person was located in Pine Grove, CA. Next contact that I'm hoping for is the ISS - they been very active lately. Wish me luck. |
