| From: Ted KC5NYJ | | Works fine as advertised. I'm using it for a field day vertical for QRP. The MFJ-1910 fully deployed slides nicely over a common inexpensive speaker tripod pole. A spool of 22ga insulated wire is the radiator, deployed as the mast is raised, with a few twists to keep the wire snug against the mast. Add a 9:1 or 4:1 unun at the bottom and attach at least four 35' 22ga wire radials and off you go. |
