I made the decision to run this voltage stabilizer continuously, after determining its no-load current drain is negligible. It is in the trunk next to the FT-857D "mainframe," and it has performed flawlessly since its installation last fall (i.e., the fall of 2009). If you need such a device, do NOT hesitate to purchase an MFJ-4416B.
