|Customer Reviews for the MFJ-452.|

|I bought one of these units back in 2004 and really, didn't use it much. It just wasn't compatable with my HW-9 QRP Rig, kept getting RF or something, then "going crazy," sending jibberish all by itself. Tried every recommendation in the book and then some but it didn't solve the problem.|
I recently got an ICOM-718 and decided to try the 452 with it. Works perfect! I had to download another manual but once I got the 4452 and original keyboard set up it works great and I've been having a ball.
Custom programming the unit is easy if you just follow the directions in the manual.
The only "drawback" is my typing. Every so often I hit a wrong key and send an extra letter or two. I'm really looking forward to using the 452 this October in the PA QSO Party, and perhaps QSO Parites of other states.
My next purchase will be a soundcard interface, but for now, the 452 fits the bill for CW operation with my 718.
