VEC-121K, KIT, CRYSTAL RADIO SET

Relive the experience of early radio pioneers

Wind your own inductor, wire up the earliest radio circuit without soldering a thing and listen to the magic of radio that needs no power. The VEC-121K crystal radio set uses a crystal diode detector designed nearly fifty years ago to give you performance that our earliest radio pioneers would envy. This is a lot more than just a nostalgic novelty -- this little baby really performs. Put up an antenna, connect a ground and youll be amazed at the stations youll hear. The kit includes all hardware and parts needed to build a working crystal radio set plus wire for an antenna and a sensitive earphone. This is an interesting project thats easy on the budget, but big on satisfaction. The kit measures 1¾ x 6½ x 5 inches.

Skill Level: Simple Calls for a few basic tools -- a soldering iron, cutters, pliers, wire-strippers, and a small screwdriver. Doesnt require test equipment for final adjustment or tuning. Note: This is merely the kit. If you would like to purchase a case for your electronic kit as well, you will need to purchase it separately.
