MFJ-58B, PVC CROSS LOOP KIT, 30/40M, FOR MFJ-933/935B/936B

The MFJ-58B PVC Cross Loop Antenna Kit, $49.95, includes a PVC Cross Mount that plugs into the top of the Loop Tuner for individually mounting three separate 10-gauge wires (13, 7, and 4 ft in length). A fourth, longer wire (28 ft in length) is also provided which can be attached to a bookshelf, curtain or other support. These four wire loops included in the MFJ-58B provide coverage from 60 - 10 Meters, or 5.330 - 29.700 MHz.

The 28-ft wire becomes an insulated 10-gauge flexible loop with low resistance lugs that operates on 60 and 40 meters. This loop is most efficient on 40 Meters, but can be tuned lower in frequency to 60 Meters with some efficiency loss depending on the loop shape, support, and environment. It can be clipped to a bookshelf, curtain or any other support that will allow the most convenient placement.

The 13-ft wire becomes an insulated 10-gauge flexible loop with low resistance lugs providing coverage on 30 and 20 Meters. The 13-ft wire works most efficiently on 20 Meters, but can be tuned to 30 Meters with some efficiency loss depending on the loop shape, support, and environment.

The 7-ft wire becomes an insulated 10-gauge flexible loop with low resistance lugs providing coverage on 20, 17, and 15 Meters. The 7-ft wire works most efficiently on 15 Meters, but can be tuned down to 20 Meters with some efficiency loss depending on the loop shape, support, and environment.

The 4-ft wire becomes an insulated 10-gauge flexible loop with low resistance lugs providing coverage on 17, 12, and 10 Meters. The 4-ft wire works most efficiently on 10 Meters, but can be tuned down to 17 Meters with some efficiency loss depending on the loop shape, support, and environment.

The PVC Cross Mount consists of 5 sections of PVC tubing that connect together in seconds using a PVC Cross Connector (two different base tubes are provided which optimizes the PVC Cross Mount size for the wires used). Three loops can be attached to the PVC Cross Mount using the loop support bands provided on the PVC sections.

When assembled, the cross measures approximately 4½ feet across and has a maximum height of 4½ feet.. When disassembled and bundled together, the PVC sections only take up 2 inches x 2 inches x 26 inches of space.
